The NASA BM-1 Compact battery monitor is true to its name at just 124mm x 62mm x 23mm, and is based on the highly popular BM-1 marine battery monitor.
Designed for use where there's little space to spare, this little monitor can keep tabs on the voltage, current (charge/discharge), number of amp/hours (charge/discharge), the battery charge level and the time to charge or discharge of a 12 volt lead acid battery system with a capacity of up to 650 Amp hours.

The BM-Compact is supplied with a precision 100 Amp shunt and prefabricated cables to make DIY installation as simple as possible.
A Simple Interface
Operating the device is easy too, one screen displays voltage and current (charge or discharge)and a bar graph that shows remaining battery capacity. A flashing alarm will warn you if the capacity is getting too low and a second screen provides the remaining time available at the current charge/discharge rate, as well as the remaining capacity in both analogue and digital format.
The BM1 Compact consumes a miserly 1.5mA!
